William John Burrows (also known as bud) sadly passed away on Tuesday 15th July 2008 at the age of
64. Bud died at whiston hospital. He lived in St.Helens (parr) with his beloved wife (Pauline) whom
he married and had 5 children together (Sue, Janet, Jenny, Mally and Sheryl). He had 20
grand-children and 8 great grand-children. Bud will be sadly missed by all his family and he will
always be in our thoughts and our hearts. Bud also had 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Sadly he passed
away by cancer he had leukemia. Bud had the leukaemia for 3 years and fought it each time but sadly
this time it got the better of him and he could not fight it anymore, but now we all know how strong
he was to go through it for 3 years. I know Bud (grand-dad) and Pauline would like to thank the
lilac center Staff and G5 staff at Whiston hospital for all their hard work and support they have
given to him over the passed 3 years.
William was the best in the world, he was loving and meant a lot to all his family and friends. Hes
gone but never forgotten hes always in our hearts day after day and night after night. Love you
loads granddad good night and god bless.

My eyes filled up with tears as I heard the news
It never occurred to me, how much I could lose
I find myself wishing that it wasn't real
Every time I think about it, pain is all I can feel
Tears fall from my eyes, I can barely see
But my heart tells me that he'll always be with me
I’m glad he feels no pain now-he lives in a perfect land
I can still feel the soft touch on my shoulder of his loving hand
I lie in bed and cry at night
And I don’t feel any better in the morning light
And I will love and miss him forever
Until the day we are again together.
Together in that perfect place above,
Filled with caring, sharing and love
But until that day comes- I will wipe my tears away.
And hopefully see him again someday

God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
And then He looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain,
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered, Peace be thine.
It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

If tears could build a stairway
and heartaches make a lane,
we'd walk the path to Heaven
and bring you back again.
A heart of gold stopped beating
A shining smile at rest
God broke our hearts to prove
he only takes the best.
Our friendship chain is broken again
and nothing seems the same,
But God will call us one by one
and the chain will link again.
R.i.p Grandad
God saw you getting tired,
A cure was not meant to be,
So he put his arms around you
And whispered come with me.
With broken hearts we loved you,
As we heard you'd passed away,
Although we loved you deeply
We could not make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest,
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best!
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone,
A part of us went with you
The day God took you home.
A million times we'll miss you,
A million times we'll cry,
If love could have saved you
You never would have died
No farewells were spoken,
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why.
If tears could build a stairway,
And heartaches make a lane,
We'd walk the path to heaven
And bring you home again
